moving with intention: your word of the year guide

Find Your Word. Anchor Your Year in What Matters Most.

A reflective, guided experience for clarifying your intention, honoring your voice, and returning to alignment whenever life feels noisy or uncertain.

More than a resolution…

So often, we move from one year to the next carrying expectations, unfinished stories, and quiet longings we haven’t fully named. We make plans and set goals, but without a clear inner anchor, it’s easy to lose our way when life gets busy or uncertain.

Your Word of the Year guide offers something different, an opportunity to go deeper.

Rather than asking you to do more, it invites you to listen more deeply. It becomes a reference point for your decisions, boundaries, and self-talk, helping you return to what matters most when the noise creeps in.

This Guide was created to support that process with intention, compassion, and structure. It meets you where you are and helps you choose a word (or short phrase) that reflects not just who you want to be, but how you want to live.

what you'll walk away with…

‘Moving with Intention’ is designed to help you slow down and listen beneath the surface, so your intention for the year comes from clarity and ease, not pressure or misalignment.

As you move through the reflections, you’ll be supported to…

Release expectations, narratives, and habits that no longer fit who you are becoming

Reconnect with your inner voice and the desires that have been waiting for your attention

Clarify what you want to carry forward into the year ahead, and what you’re ready to leave behind

Choose a Word of the Year that feels grounding, meaningful, and usable in real life

Return to your word throughout the year as a steady anchor for decisions, boundaries, and self-trust

This is not about choosing the “perfect” word. It’s about choosing a word that can meet you where you are and grow with you as the year unfolds.

This Guide is a perfect fit if you:

01

are in a season of transition, reflection or quiet reorientation and want direction without overwhelm.

02

you feel ready to release old expectations or patterns, even if you aren't quite sure what comes next.

03

you want to understand how to reconnect with your inner voice and make decisions from alignment rather than urgency.

04

you are ready to lean into meaning, and self-trust over hustle and constant productivity.

05

you are looking for grounding practices you can return to throughout the year, not a one-time exercise.

‘Moving with Intention’ is not about setting rigid goals or mapping out your entire year in advance. It’s an invitation to choose a word (or phrase) that supports you through whatever the year holds, with flexibility, compassion, and trust.

faq

Is this Workbook only to be used at the beginning of a calendar year?

Absolutely not! While January is the time when a lot of folks look for this kind of reset, what is most important is that you move with the rhythms that speak to you. It's not about a month. It's about clarity. And clarity is NOT seasonal.

Q: How long does it take to move through the Workbook?

A: While there is no magic timeline, I suggest blocking time  daily, for about seven days, to work through the exercises. Do a little, put it down, reflect. But don't forget to come back to this commitment to yourself.

Can I use this again next year?

Heck yeah! This is a rinse-and-repeat kind of exercise. It's about taking time to get quiet, to lean into where you are today and using that awareness to help guide you to and through your next best steps to creating the life you desire.
